Sophie Toh 11A PR Week ‘One to Watch’, Sophie started her career in London, working within boutique luxury PR agencies, a formative experience that allowed her to gain valuable experience working with some of the world’s leading lifestyle brands, including BOSS Hugo Boss, Harvey Nichols, the MARC Restaurant Group, Kenzo, Penhaligon’s, baulthaup, Conrad Hotels and Arsenal Football Club.In 2006, Sophie joined the Brunswick Group, where she extended her capabilities into the art and design worlds, working with global cultural teams such as the UBS Partnership with Tate Modern, the 52nd Venice Biennale, London College of Fashion, Art Basel and DesignArt London. In this role, Sophie travelled extensively throughout Europe, building and maintaining relationships with clients and media and gaining first hand experience in the relationships between corporate, cultural and governmental institutions.

The call of luxury, client driven public relations drew Sophie to London based consumer agency Luchford APM in 2007, where she headed the property and design team. It was here that Sophie was recognized by PR Week as ‘Significant Hire’ and ‘One to Watch’. In this role, Sophie was responsible for generating new business and managed a number of significant client accounts, including The Lanesborough, JW Marriott, Hilton Prestige Portfolio, YOO with Philippe Starck, Nespresso and Courvoiser. In 2008, Sophie began to manage the Middle Eastern client desk for Luchford APM, travelling extensively within the region and building strong relationships with regional media.In 2009, Sophie moved to the United Arab Emirates, which led her to found TOH Public Relations, the consumer public relations agency that operates between London and the Middle East. The team has established itself as a player in both markets, with a client base boasting some high profile names and major communications campaigns.
