This year’s MEPRA 2020 awards shortlists were announced with the usual fanfare and hotly anticipated. TOH celebrated two coveted award wins this year Gold for Best Real Estate Campaign and Silver for Best Saudi Campaign.

Gold Winner: Best Real Estate Campaign – The Rise and Rise of Branded Residences

Over the past few years, Savills has built a strong reputation as the global market leader in Branded Residences, aided with the publication and release of its annual flagship ‘Spotlight’ Market Research Report. On a regional level, The Middle East is expected to have the most important pipeline of Branded Residences projects in the coming years.

From our research phase, TOH supported Savills with a strategy that involved a comprehensive launch of the Spotlight report in Egypt, Saudi and UAE that demonstrated Savills’ expertise in Branded Residences to become the de-facto authority and consultant in the region.

Silver Winner: Best Saudi Campaign- Diriyah, The Jewel of the Kingdom

As the jewel of the Kingdom, Diriyah needs no embellishment. TOH was engaged to tell the story of the re-emergence of this remarkable historical city powerfully and authentically. The Diriyah Gate Development Agency (DGDA) is the custodian of Diriyah, the physical and symbolic home of the Saudi state, and the owners of the Diriyah Gate giga-project. An integral part of Vision 2030, valued at 64bn Riyals, Diriyah Gate will transform Diriyah into a global cultural and tourism destination, reflective of Saudi Arabia’s tourism ambitions.

We developed a strategic plan to address three key elements: Profile Raising of DGDA; Spotlight Diriyah, and Introduce Diriyah Gate. Key moments in the campaign focused on the launch of the e-visa and the Royal Inauguration of Diriyah Gate, a historical moment hosted in the presence of His Highness King Salam bin Abdulaziz Al Saud together with his son, in an audience comprising over 500 VIPs, dignitaries and media.
